The Proposición objectives are:

• Show the Government the advantages of using free software and open hardware as alternatives to the closed technologies used at present.
   
• Promote the development and diffusion of a Free Software and Open Hardware implementation project within the Government.
   
• Promote the use of Open Technologies (Free Software, Open Hardware & Open Formats) within the Government.
